Oh how I hate that y'all are going through this. I am thankful that you do not have to walk through this alone... but the tears still come.

Much love and prayers lifted on your behalf to our mighty God. He hears, He cares for you, He will carry you until you see precious Joe again!

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I Thess 4:13-18

I can't wait for the "ever" part!

Love y'all.

You are constantly, constantly on my mind and in my heart, Laura. I just have been thinking about you so much lately.....

I'm praying for you all throughout the day...and night....I'm lifting up your arms right now in this season when maybe you can't lift them up yourself.

Just wanted you to know.

I just started following your blog and oh my; I was shocked to see that you lost one of yours so suddenly!
My Google-ID about says it all; my husband's death was about a year of the "something's wrong but we don't know what" before he was diagnosed with cancer. His death came 3 weeks later; we HAD been hopeful that he might beat it, or at least have more time to fight it! So, though my loss was different, I know what it is to lose a loved one, so young, so suddenly. Truth be told, if it weren't for knowing about Jesus and His love, I don't know how any of us would make it through such a loss!
I will continue to follow your blog, and pray for you often. Sending hugs from up north in Canada.
