My birthday is coming up at the end of this week so I thought I'd try to have a bit of fun and host a giveaway!

Now, onto the prize.

The winner will get to choose a $15 gift card to either:-OR-
Sometime between now and Friday at 12:00 p.m. (noon) leave me a comment, then I'll stick all the names in a hat and pick one. :) Good luck!

Oooh, good questions.

Since I can't think of what was the best baby shower gift, I'll go with the birthday present. You know, since I'm all about my birthday. ;)

Two years ago my BFF gave me a pink shirt with a watermelon on the front and the saying "I Carried a Watermelon." (Quote from Dirty Dancing, in case someone doesn't know...)

Love it.

The best baby shower gift I've ever gotten was meals for 5 weeks from Northlake ladies. This was after we had Sofia, and we had never gotten that blessing before, and we've never gotten it since Sofia. The best!

And the best birthday gift I ever got was an engagement ring from my husband on my 20th birthday, on the Sternwheeler of the Columbia Gorge, on his grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. His whole family on was there.....good stuff!

You know my info.

PS: He wasn't my husband when he gave me the ring. Obviously! Duh on my part.

My sister threw my last baby shower, and she had all these goodies made, like all the water bottles had labels that said it was Julie's baby shower and little tea bags that said, A Baby is Brewing, Proud Parents Julie and Aaron, and Big Sister Bethany, and she got me a HUGE basket full of all kinds of useful baby things (diapers, bottles, diaper rash cream, and everything else you can think of) It was a great gift!!

The birhtday gift that I remember the most was from my dear husband when we were dating. He got me a tape deck (then called a gheto blaster, does that age me or what?)It was really special because of my love for music. And it wasn't just any tape player. I could also hook up a microphone to it and sing to and record my favorite songs. It is probably the gift that got the most use.

My 18th birthday sticks out because I had been dating Jim for a few weeks. I was too scared to tell him that I was still 17, but he found out and gave me a gold bracelet. No one had ever given me anything of love/romantic before. He was and is a keeper.

From that birthday forward he just kept getting better and better with the gift giving.

The best babyshower present I recieved was some money to help buy a twin feeding pillow - when I was pregnant with the twins - of course I never attended the shower as I was put into hospital that morning.

My favourite b'day pressies would be when I'm given money to spend on myself.

Diapers were the best shower gift, I just didnt' realize that with my first kid. With the 2nd and 3rd, I was thanking people with tears in my eyes :) Wow--I didn't realize you were so far along!

My best birthday present was when my mom flew me to see her back in college. On the way there, I had a lay-over and was looking up at the flight information; I took a step back, bumping into the person behind me. When I looked up to apologize, I realized it was my sister who was also being flown in as a suprise to me. Our flights had stopped at the same gate! Ooops, sorry mom. Surprise!

I haven't had a shower in 10 yrs, but the gift I use most is the bouncy seat. My babies all loved it and I could carry it to whatever room I was in.
My favorite birthday gifts was my 16th surprise party and my dad gave me a car :)
