It rained quite a bit today and when that happens our front ditch area accumulates quite a bit of water. When the rain stopped and the sun peeked out the kids were itching to go out to play. Shortly after I found them doing this....
and it looked like so much fun I couldn't stop them.
They had a blast and got VERY, VERY, VERY dirty!

My girls have fun toys inside, they do. But what is their favorite thing of all time? Dirt. Mud. Water. Free stuff!
I love letting my girls play in the water and the mud. Sure bathtime and laundry are tiring but seeing how happy it makes them is totally worth it.
Way to go you for letting them play!
