Today I'm typing out the 100th post since moving over here to blogspot!
I thought I could give you 100 pictures to enjoy, but that would just be LONG and probably pretty annoying.
I thought I could give away 100 mismatched socks, (because I know I do have those!) but everyone probably already has their own pile.
I thought I could give you 100 random things about me, but I'm just not that interesting.
Then I thought, hey I have this $30 gift card to Old Navy...why not have a contest?
So if you want to celebrate with me, leave me a comment and tell me about a favorite Christmas tradition you have...
Then Saturday night (Dec. 20th) I'll put all the names in a bowl and have one of my kids pick one out.
If you'd like to be entered twice you could link from your blog too! :)

Please don't enter me as I don't think we even have that shop over here, however had to say Congratulations on the 100th post!!!!!
One of our traditions that has been passed on from my family is that we wait to open presents til after church - sounds mean, but it's actually really nice & relaxed for the opening & then the kids can enjoy their gifts for the rest of the day!!
This is a new tradition but we are loving unwrapping one of our Christmas books and having story time each evening of Advent. Also, we love picking a night to go see the Christmas lights. We put the kids in their sleepers and buy donuts. Then we drive around blasting Christmas music, eating donuts and looking at all the lights.
Blessings,
Dawn

Yes, we did the same tour of Christmas Lights this year. Abbey calls it a "Christmas Walk". We get in our jammies and load in the car w/ hot chocolate, then drive around and find our favorite Christmas lights.
We have a Christmas cookie baking day. We also have a Christmas party with extended family and some friends. I usually host it:)
I would love to start more traditions, but I always forget to do the same thing every year:( lol
Thanks for the contest and Merry Christmas!!!

Congratulations on your 100th post! I just made it to 28, so that seems like a huge accomplishment!
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is baking bread for gifts. All of our grandparents get bread and jam (that we prepared during the summer) for Christmas. My grandma likes it so much she bought me cute little Christmassy mini loaf pans to give her bread in. There is something so simple and delicious and lovely about homemade bread. And my little family loves it, too, because I always fry up some dough for lunch like elephant ears.
One tradition is to wrap up a little nativity set that I have and opening them up for the twelve days of Christmas. We read the corresponding scripture for each piece from Luke 2 in the New Testament.
A new tradition from this year is an activity advent. For each day we remove we do a fun craft or activity. We love it.
Congratulations on your 100th post! Some of our favorite traditions are: putting out the Nativity set and placing baby Jesus in the manger on Christmas morning, making a coffee cake for Jesus Birthday cake on Christmas morning and singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus (is it bad that we sometimes have "Green eggs and Ham" with it?!?), that the kids can get into their stocking before breakfast (but we don't open gifts until after), they open one present Christmas Eve (bet you can't guess what's in it, haha), and that my kids have been dancing in the local Nutcracker for the last six years! We also do cookies, driving around looking at the lights, and the Christmas Eve service at church. I love reading about everyone's traditions! Thanks Laura for the great contest!
Congrats on your 100th post! Quite an accomplishment! My favorite Christmas tradition is to open a gift on Christmas eve. Everyone always looks forward to that one!

My favorite tradition is Christmas morning...(we don't celebrate Santa)...but instead rise early, go to our barn that my Knight has warmed with the wood stove. We sit in mismatched chairs in a circle. We read the story of Jesus' birth out of one of the gospels, we pray together as a family and thank God for all His blessings, we open our stockings to each other...we eat Italian pastries and sip hot chocolate (well, coffee for me and Knighty)...and beside us is a manger my dad carved of wood and welded onto iron legs (was a planter for my mum), now that my dad is no longer with us it is extra special as our manger...inside is fresh straw and a baby doll that gets to 'be Jesus'...I love it- off to morning church and then home to open any remaining gifts. Then off to celebrate with family.
guess you got the whole run down...sorry, but it is my 'whole' favorite.
Love you dear sister;

My Christmas tradition is watching "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation" every Christmas Eve. I have done this for several years and it gets funnier every year.
